Evening all, I've had my z8 since June '15 with no issues. Recently installed a lift (had to modify it) and added 2" wheel spacers. I am now considering 30" silverbacks, but after reading some of the nightmares removing the secondary clutch, I find myself rethinking them!!!

Welcome to the forum. Yeah some of us have had issues with getting that secondary off...but not everybody so don't let it scare you. The gains of going to the C1 or B2 position are great! You won't believe it's the same machine. Looks like you need to rig-up for some mudd'n any way...lol

Welcome and to be honest I guess for some people they had a hard time with the clutch and some not I guess I was lucky don't even had any type of tool just a good old air gun bolt came right out if you do decide to change your settings there's a lot of smart guys here that could give you some great advise.

I think the secondary clutch removal issue isnt too common. I have had to remove them off of a handful of units now with no issue.

Also, what lift did you use?

Welcome and way to get it dirty!  Is that a natural gas pipeline they are laying in the background?
