Meet my new CForce 800
« on: March 15, 2016, 12:51:54 PM »
I already introduced myself and my other rides, but I wanted to introduce everyone to my new 2014 CForce 800, I should have it by Friday.

I live in Vermont and found it in Georgia, I spent about $6,000 on it total with shipping to VT. I wanted to thank everyone here for their feedback on the machine, it definitely was a big part of my decision. Its sad but I think what I am looking forward to most is getting rid of one more carburetor from my garage.

I think the first thing this will need is tires. The reviews for the stock CST tires are a bit underwhelming. I was hoping Kenda Bearclaw's would fit the stock rims but they don't. I'm also thinking Kenda Executioner's that come in 28x9-14 and 28x11-14. If I do that do I need to change the clutch?

ITP Mudlites come in 27x9-14 and 27x11-14 those might be easier to get in place.

What are you guys running for tires? Anyone running the stock ones in mud?

I put the CST's on my outlander. I really like them. We stay out of the deep mud if possible so I can't speak to how they do in it. If you are doing a bit of trail riding, I would hold on to them.

I have the stock tires on mine and really like them. I do not do any heavy mud so I can't say how they do in that. I find the CST give a fairly smooth ride on the trails.

A lot of people talk smack about the factory CST tire.  I think that the Abuzz is an excellent tire.  It performed well in mud, rocks, hard pack, sand and especially snow.  They wear fast but, provide excellent traction.  Just my opinion.

Ancla's are what he has and what is on my outlander. I have abuzz on my z6 and they are decent nobby trail tires. I've seen both used on the same model but I think the Ancla's are nicer.

The Abuzz are not mud tires for sure. But, when I had mine on, they out performed my brother's Big Horn 2.0s in every type of terrain, including mud. They actually put the BH2s to shame everywhere.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll give them a shot and see how they do in the deep stuff. I have winches and rigging if I get in trouble :)

OK my bad. I looked again at the picture. He has the abuzz tires and not the Ancla. I must have just looked at one of the new 500/550's that had them.

Welcome from Ocala, Fl and Peterborough, Ontario, Canada, Andy. I too have the same machine as you. I have close to 1500 kms on the SXS and so far have been very pleased.
