Been riding motorcycles my whole life. I currently own a fully restored 2005 Honda CBR600RR Repsol clone.

The Repsol is my main squeeze. I have a buddy of mine who just got married and his wife keeps putting the kibosh on him getting a motorcycle. He used to ride a 900 F2 back in the 90s and he wants to get on a bike again pretty bad. So I said the heck with it and bought a 2026 675SS yesterday over the phone from a local dealership. Now he'll have something to ride and we can go cruising.

I chose the 675 SS because in my opinion if I put him on that bike he should be able to stay within range of my 600. He's got 40 lb more weight on his body than I do and the bike is only 95 horsepower. But I've ordered a custom pipe and Muffler off eBay and I found a place in Alabama that will tune the ecm. Should put it somewhere in the 105 horsepower range which will be a little better.

Got to be honest, when CF Moto first came out with this 675 I was actually pretty interested in it just because of the whole chineseium/cheep factor.

I can't wait to get my hands on it for two reasons. First, my Honda is on the stand at a buddy's place getting the water lines replaced and safety wired for a track day coming up in may. Second, I think that the 675SS will make a really fun Street bike and I haven't done any riding yet this year because of weather and traveling for work. So just the pure fact of getting on two wheels again this Saturday on a 70° sunny day has really got me stoked.

Picked the 675SS up saturday morning.  Love it. Put 300 miles on it over the weekend.  Tore the ecu out of it, sent it to fasttunes. They got it yesterday, flashed it, and I paid extra to have it overnight'd. My work friday night/Saturday morning is cut out for me. I will be installing;
1)tail tidy
2)ecu
3)evil-bay header and silencer
4)black pillion cover/rear seat delete.

Took me an hour and a half to swap out the header/muffler, and install the tail tidy. It took me an hour of fiddling to get the flashed ecu re-installed🤬.

Fired right up. After letting the tune settle in for about 15 miles with a couple of restarts, I let it rip from a stop sign out in the styx.

It wheelies on command now. It took me off guard at first. Because while my CBR600RR can lift the tire, you got to nudge her with a flick of the clutch.

Not on the 675SS. From a standing stop I opened it up all the way in 1st and the front tire came up a foot off the ground like right the heck now.

Startled the crap out of me.

Wouldn't do that before the tune and pipe.
