Title: Hi from Maryland
Post by: Grim TJ on May 31, 2016, 03:20:42 PM
Bought a Uforce 800 which is my first sxs and I'm very happy with it so far. Used it at Lost Trails in Dunmore PA a few times and it performed great. I'm new to this forum. Looking forward to seeing what others have done to mod theirs.

Heya Grim ! I'm a bit north of you in York, PA. Interestingly enough, Lost Trails is one of the very few ride areas in PA that I have yet to ride. My riding buddies mentioned it a few months ago, but I need to find someone familiar with the trails to give us a grand tour of the trails. I normally guide on our rides, but hate being the guide on a new trail system. Glad you are enjoying the Uforce 800 !! I chatted with a guy last month at AOAA that had all kinds of overheating issues with his 2015.

Thanks guys for the welcome. I'm originally from NEPA moved here 12 yrs ago. Not to many places here to ride. I went to lost trails because it's 20 mins from my parents house. I'm not too familiar with their trails for a grand tour yet lol. I got lost both times. This lady time I took a gps so hopefully I'll be good for next time. WalkinTarget I usually go with other riders so you are more than welcome to join us next time. I'll let you know next time we are planning.

I did have overheating issue this last trip however the RAD was caked with mud. My friend has a '15 zforce 800 and we found out the fan sensor has a tendency to go up on the '15 so we hardwired a bypass switch on both of ours and after my warranty I'll prob relocate my RAD

The dealer had a fix for my fan when it was over heating. I think CFMOTO is aware and it was covered under warranty, and now works better than new. I have a 2015 Cforce 500 Ho EPS, and they're getting known for the bad fans for the early year run.

That's exactly what I told this guy when we chatted. The '15 model year had issues with that fan sensor, but his dealer was not much help. He claimed it was in the shop 4 of the first 12 months for work, and the dealer was always waiting on parts to arrive such as the fan sensor. Anyhoo, lemme know - I would love to go along for a ride at Lost Trails. I'm slowly trying to convince my father in law and brother in law on CF Moto, and riding with current owners who can back up the brands reliability would help me out a lot.
