After kicking the tires and researching for more than 18 months, I finally pulled the trigger on a used 2016 Zforce 800EX.
It came with a bent rim and was not maintained for the 1800 miles the original owner put on. I ended up having to straighten the lower control arm, put in new rear bearings (great utube vid on this btw), servicing the break calipers, removing lots and lots of sand from the unit, changing the oil, and fixing the seat belts. I am hoping my local tire shop can help straighten my rear rim. I am also putting together a tool bag as there were none with the rig and would like to adjust the shocks. I have a good start though.
I plan to modify the breather tube and to put some heat shield between the engine and cab as it gets quite hot on our backs.
Other than the typical back roads and ditches, we have a few off-road parks here in Minnesota to rip around in. I really enjoy ripping down the frozen rivers in the winter so I will definitely be joining my friends with the new toy this winter. The old4x4 was great but the new Moto will be awesome!
Happy Trails,
MN Ben
