Hey guys!

New to forum, just wanted to introduce myself and show everbody my new ride.  My name is Adam, married, father of three, and work as tool designer/tool and die.  My wife and splurged on this machine as a Christmas gift to each other, something we could ride together.

So far I've got 15.9 miles on my 2016 500 HO EPS.  So I haven't had a chance to really open it up yet, I'm still breaking her in.... Aside from the fact it is literally zero degrees today... Brrr!

I gotta tell ya guys, if this thing holds up, I've got a new favorite machine.  Factory installed accessories really put this machine over the top.  The 4 wheel independent suspension and long wheelbase make this thing ride smooth and straight.  The turn radius is wide, but not an issue.. Might prove wrong later, not likely.  I'm a big guy, 6' 2" - 350 lbs, and my wife - dare I speak of her twiggy little body - puts us close to 500lbs combined.  This machine handles us well and accelerates effortlessly.  There is plenty of room for me as passenger when wife is in the driver's seat.

Once I have this broke in a little better, I'll give you guys a little more feedback.

I've attached a picture of the new ride.. Hope it makes it.

Southeast Iowa actually.  This one came from Dukes in Faifield.

I was looking at an orange one from Brennys. Glad I stayed local... Good people over at Dukes.

Welcome.

I noticed you've got your front end secured with the winch cable wrapped on the trailer.  You may not have any issues, but you might consider hooking the hook onto the flat, vertical, part of the metal.  Those winch cables can do some damage if they wear and break.

Good looking wheeler though and enjoy!

Very observant! ...and you are correct.  This was the quick and dirty get it home version of not having straps.  I believe I threw a curse word or two about fraying a steel cable when I 'secured' it that way.   I didn't have far to go, and was considered just using the parking brake... but this 'looked' a little more secure.  ::)

I always tie down by the suspension or tyres so the body can still move up and down but will not break the straps/chains.
