Long time gear head,motorcyclist,
Currently have 2 ATVs.
Looking hard at the CF Moto 800trail.
Been researching they seem fine.
Just need to put my hands on one and talk to the shop's owner and service manager get there take.
Nice forum very civilized

Welcome. As a trail owner myself I'm pretty happy but in hind-sight, as most places I ride don't require a 50", I wish I had gotten an EX instead as the suspension is much better. But some aftermarket shocks and springs took care of "most" of that.

Ditto, though in my case there have been enough times and places that the 50" width has helped that I am glad I didn't go EX, firmer ride regardless. :) Lower tire pressure than factory recommendation helps and is something I think should be done regardless. I've made shock upgrades too.
For new owners the air filter should be upgraded and a good skid plate is a darned good idea if your riding areas include rough rocky stuff.
Good luck. :)

Greetings, from the Olympic Peninsula, the WET part of the state! We picked up our 21' 800 trail (white) three weeks ago at Premier Polarus, in Monroe. Funny story is that they sell more CF's than they do Polaris! They told me they sold 80 CFM's between 01/01 and 5/30. I was there 8 days before I picked up mine, and at that time they had 6 still in crates, but by the time I picked mine up they had one left un-sold.
These machines are gaining popularity pretty fast.

Hey from the cold side of the state
To me that sounds like good news  the fact they are moving more of these machines
Over in Idaho most of the trails I do ride now on my ATV are 50 inch trails. So that would be my preference
That's for a great web site Tom's of info

Yes, that's why bought the 50" too. Wallace is not that far away and there is awesome riding out from there. Not much over here but forest service roads which I've been riding, and hunting off of for over 30 years.
But we are looking forward to riding Long Beach WA. 25 miles of beach and I do a lot of surf fishing, and razor clamming. Another 12 miles of beach north at Ocean Shores. This machine will be great for this.
I'm street legal so I can drive form the RV park right to the beach. All rigs have to be street legal to ride the beaches the same with DNR and FS roads.
