CF Moto 800 Trail

Just about time to do my first oil change. Checking my owners manual they recommend 15W40 oil. Can anyone verify this? That seems pretty heavy. Also, I want to use the auxiliary plug (tow plug) and power a brake light function for a rear facing light bar. Can't find a wiring diagram. The dealer wasn't able to help either. The plug that came with the ATV was falling apart from the beginning. It's pretty useless. Any idea where to get the diagram. Even the manual skips over it. (CF moto Z-Force 800 Trail)

New to this forum. Pretty much stock unit except for the usual easy stuff.

Any help or recommendations are certainly welcome
Thanks, dbrakeman

I will PM you a link to a wiring diagram, although it's easy enough to use any multi meter and find out what's what. The plug is a POS, yes, but if you intend to use that receptacle you will have to use that plug as it's CFM only.

Yes, it says 15W40. But you can use 0,5,10 or 15w40. Just make sure it's no heavier and that it has the JASO MA rating for the wet clutch.
