We moved to our home in the countryside outside of Swansea UK in 2022. We have 10 acres and moving stuff around getting harder as I approach 75 so decided on a second had quad.
Found this on eBay, looked OK and can be delivered so went for it. Also has a winch, useful for getting the 50" ride on mower out of soft ground!!
Rather a basket case! RH front lights not working, RH front & RH rear indicators not working, very low oil, leaking coolant overflow bottle and so it goes on.
Allegedly it came from a good home! Oh, and it was supposed to have EPS......No.
Having previously rebuilt my old Lotus Elan engine, a V8 engine, gerboxes etc not too daunted by this task of a rebuild.
But it would be made a hell of a lot easier if I could find a manual which matches what I've got particularly with the electrics.

Have tried CF Moto UK, messaged Moto China about manuals, and what they have sent me do not match, don't even mention a winch. And nothing remotely like it found on the internet.

So my plea is, does anyone know of a download link for a 2016 CF Moto 500-2 (ex Chunfeng ATV China according to VINcodeRZ). Quadzilla reckon it is a Terrain 500? Maybe. See photos for evidence.

I have one for the 500/550 2015 up to 2017 but yours does not look like the same one..yours looks like 2014. Might want to do a decode on the VIN. Anyway I will PM you the link to the manual I have.

Welcome. That looks the same as my 2013 model except for the dash. Maybe use an earlier model manual. Also be careful that after using the park section of the gear lever that the brake shoes release and dont drag on the disc.

Oddly, according to the VIN he provided it shows to be a 2016 Chunfeng with a .5 liter engine. I looked through all the pics of plastics from 2012 to 2017 and can't fine one sold in the US that has that front plastics configuration.
