Hello everybody.  I just took delivery of a 2017 800EX earlier this week.  Took it out for some trail riding yesterday and I'm very impressed with the performance and ability of this machine.  The only issue I've had so far is it would die when I stopped in gear every once in a while.  I had to have a buddy give me a push so I could shift out of gear so that was kind of embarrassing.  Other than that, the passenger side headlight is fogging.  I'm looking forward to a lot of fun miles.

Linkage may need adjusted. Mine did.  Works smoother now.  2nd set of headlights and they both still fog.

Mine used to just die sometimes when I put it in reverse and touched the gas. Always started right back up. It quit doing that after I cleaned the air temp sensor in the intake tube. It was covered with oil and dirt from that OE POS paper filter it came with. Only ran it for 100 miles but that's all it took....I guess.

Lol mine did that on few weeks ago, guess it threw one in for old times sake. Hasn't done it in forever but like you said it fires right back up.

Buzzo, where do you go to ride? I have a 2016 ZFORCE 800 trail,we went to Little Sahara sand dunes a few weeks ago and had a blast.Have to get hooked up sometime and hit some trails.

So far just been on the trails down by Roaring River.  Would like to go spend some time at S.M.O.R.R. in Ava. 

Quick update in case anybody is curious.  After putting a Uni filter on, the machine is idling just fine.  The paper filter didn't look too bad but it seems to have made a difference.  Or it may have been the clutch just needed to break in a little bit.

Welcome to the CF moto forum! Mine has 60 miles on it and did that the other day 2 died but fired right back up! I'm going to give my filter a check as well!
