2022 Cforce 500 owner questions
« on: December 28, 2022, 01:13:34 AM »
Just got home and super stoked! Have some property to use this on for hauling. Plan to be fairly active here as I typically join owners forums and try to learn and help.

Looking at ordering a hitch receiver (currently the curt multi purpose atv one is in my cart) but also had a few questions.
Oil brand. Any preference?
Air filter. Same question.
Street legal kit. Any part numbers to look at? Cheers!

Welcome to the forum. Oil, well any quality ATV or motorcycle oil with a JASO MA2 rating is fine. Stick with the weight outlined in the manual or 10w40. You can go to a 0w40 in real cold conditions. Can go to a synthetic after the second oil change. Air Filters-Unifilter is the preferred along with a quality foam filter oil treatment. Most of us use Maxima FAB1.

I purchased this receiver hitch for my CForce 400.  Works great - allows me to pull my 4' x 8' utility trailer, my John Deere lawn tractor trailer, and a dethatcher (that I actually use to smooth out the gravel driveway.  The pin also allows for a tow strap or cable to be attached to it.  I think I paid around $25 on Amazon.com for it.
