2021 ZForce 950 Sport - Roof / Top Material?
« on: March 11, 2025, 03:17:49 PM »
Hi everyone, thanks for allowing me the privilege of joining this forum, I appreciate it.
I just purchased a 2021 CF Moto ZForce 950 Sport and am interested in fixing the existing OEM roof / top.
Although it's only got 207 miles on it, the person that owned it was towing it and some of the molded plastic standoffs used for mounting
the top broke off, not all of them but st 4 of the 6 that it has.
Id rather not replace the entire roof so if I can identify the material the roof is made of, I may be able to locate a structural adhesive
than I may reattach the damaged standoffs with.
Please let me know of your thoughts and or ideas.
Appreciate your comments.
Thanks

If it were mine I wouldn't try to re-attach then especially with an adhesive because many that transport them on open trailers and backs of trucks have had the roofs peal-back from the forces of the wind lifting it. I have extra mounts on mine that stop that but some that have had it happen build new "stand-offs" out of washers or something solid then sandwich the roof between two much larger disks of steel..painted the same black of course. Many also incorporate a ratchet strap up front when transporting just for safety sake. Sounds like your PO should have done that as well.

Welcome to the forum.  Congrats on the new machine.  I would tend to agree with NMKawierider about not using an adhesive or at least taking the additional precautions if you do.  I have not had any experience with the CF Moto SXS roofs since I own their ATV.  Fortunately I have never had an issue when I tow my RZR.
