Hi all, new to this forum, although read a lot and learned a lot from you guys I haven't had to chime in yet, but now I have a problem that I haven't read about yet, I have a 2017 zforce 500 I bought 1/15/18 so I am now out of warranty, had a few issues fixed with no questions asked, but now I have no power after 25-30 mph, almost like throttle is only opening half way, no balls off the line either, new drive belt recent, and was at the dealer not too long ago for a front diff that exploded, probably not related, have checked throttle cable adjustment three times and looking for any suggestions, any help would be appreciated, thanks Dan

Welcome. Well, need to check all the obvious and mechanical things first like the valve lash, air filter, fuel pressure and volume. Also try it with the gas cap loose as their vent check valves do stick shut sometimes. I would hope you are running a Unifilter and not the OE paper filter...but if you are, pull the filter and with an oiled Q-tip, swab the intake track and inspect for dust and dirt. If any is found, take a compression test as it may be likely the engine is now in need of a rebuild. If nothing is found on the swab, on the intake tube between the seats there is a prefilter bag that needs cleaned sometimes. Pull the cover, remove and clean it. If still nothing and all the rest is within specs, look to electrical. Check the sensors first then the ECU as outlined in the manual. Good luck. Oh...and if it has any low voltage issues, that can also cause this behavior too so check all the cables and grounds and battery as well as coil voltage while running.
