Wobble can come from several different factors but it's a sign that the toe is incorrect to start with, then there are parts with play to perpetuate the movement. One other type of situation that feels like a wobble but actually is not is sometimes called "cow-towing". This is when the toe-in is set to much for a type of tire tread..usually a mud type called "capture" and greater then 3/4" tall. It only happens on hard surfaces that offer a traction level that dirt alone won't such as pavement and hard pack. This in combination with the toe-in causes one side to build and release plowing traction. During the release phase it shifts to the other side. This back and forth building and releasing happens quickly and feels like a wobble but if you watch the front fenders right when it starts you will see each dip and release. The cure for this is either a different tire or reset the toe to closer to zero..like 2/32" not 10+mm. In any case I advise everyone to run theirs with minimal toe-in no mater what and eliminate any and all movement by replacing anything with wear such as ball joints, tierod ends, bearings, steering stem and or rack play.
