I have a 400s that when you put in reverse or forward quad doesn’t move right away. Any info on this issue or how to fix greatly appreciated

You mean like it's not in gear? Check the linkage adjustment.

One quick test to try: Put the machine in neutral and give it one quick rev, then let it return to idle, put it in gear, and then apply throttle. If it performs normally every time you do this then the problem might be related to the way you are riding it.

Machine is running at an ideal. I put it into gear and it sits there for a few seconds even if I give it some throttle
