For the life of me, I cannot find the Uni filters ANYWHERE for my '21 Cforce 600. I know it's the same. I have actually ordered it twice on Amazon, only to have the sellers message me and say hey we don't have stock and don't know when we'll get more. Does anyone have a spare I can buy?? Or somewhere that actually has them??

Many have been able to use the angled version of the ones listed as the straights are just unavailable right now. So try UP6229-AST and NU8703-AST instead.

So, to clarify.....the UP-6229ST will work on both the 600 touring & 400 models as they measure 2.25" flange, 4-5" dia and 5-6" long.    Correct?    Also, no outerwear recommended other than the red foam it comes with......oiled properly.

Thanks!

Correct. The reason we don't recommend the outerwears directly on oiled filters is because the oil wicks to the Outerwears causing it to capture dust that normally wouldn't which causes accelerated restriction in airflow. Not that using them away from the oiled filter isn't a good idea..because it is. Over the intake tube as CFM did with the Zs..as long as people know to clean them regularly. When I had my stacks and needed to go as far as I could in dusty conditions, I had these round red Outerwears I called "Bonnets" I would slip over the intakes.

Is there any advantage to the 8703 filter that uni puts as for can am and cfmoto on label?  It $37 vs $21 for the 6229 but my local shop has one in stock who I am friends with.   Also they make a loose outerwear specifically for the 6229st.    Just got a 2022 800 and have 250 miles on in zero dust conditions but that's about to change.  Can't run a snorkel because we have the cfmoto storage tote mounted in back.  Thanks

Any dual-stage Unifilter is far better then any version of CFM's stock filter...even their own foam filter. If it fits and seals correctly...use it..with a quality foam filter treatment of course.

Gotcha.   Rode today in dust on stock filter.  Didn't expect dust like it was but won't ride again until the filter shows up.  My cousin (her machine) ordered the 6229 and an outerwear.  Had I known it was going to be dusty I would have grabbed the other one yesterday.   Very anxious to check filter in morning and see if anything passed thru.   Sucks because I read on here and knew better so hope for best.   Now to play with clutching.   I'm not super impressed so far but time will tell

When you pull the stock filter off, take a cotton swab and swab the intake track a little and take a loon up close. Of course it's not the stuff that gets stuck on the surface that's a problem...it's all the stuff that didn't... Maybe you got lucky and got a good CFM filter.
