Thanks for the info!  your rational makes sense to me

there seem to be a million outerwears sizes/options on amazon.ca  anyone know which is the correct one for the 6229ST?  looking for a canadian shipper.
many thanks
Although it seems to be the thing to do...and a lot of people do it, we are finding that its not so great of an idea to put..at least a snug-fitting outerwears prefilter over a foam filter. The filter oil wicks into the prefilter making it capture all..or most of the dust, blocking airflow prematurely. Also tests show on those that fit the filter snugly even clean there is a percentage of air restriction at higher RPMs through the prefilter. So if you feel you must, then get one with the correct neck size for the filter or one size larger as they do fit tight, then the body much larger then the filter so it's in like a loose bag and the surface ares is greatly extended. This will also limit the contact area with the filter.

Thanks

That's the new (well it came out two years ago) CFM Foam filter. Even with a quality oil it still let some dust through. Its better then the paper one but not by much. Don't feel bad about not using it...your engine will still thank you.

2020/21 Zforce 950 air filter.

OEM Filter part # 0JYA-112000-30000
Carquest is # 83295,
Wix would be 49295..
Napa is 9295.

No Uni filter available at this time.
The factory airbox is actually a much better design so it works pretty good.

Anyone know a supplier for the angled uni filter in Canada? I can't seem to find one online that isn't sold out. One of the sites even said that the UP-6229AST was discontinued by uni. Do they make one that fits that's got a different number? Looking to install on a 2021 zforce 800 trail. Sorry I'm a noob in the side by side world and to the forum.

The stock one is straight so we stopped using the angled one and just started using the 6229ST instead.

Looked through the thread, anyone know what the uni number is for a CF600 2020 ? Would it be the UP-6229ST also?

The 600 has a slightly different part number then the rest that use UP6229st but...if it is a 2.25" flange, 4-5" in diameter and between 5-6"s long, it should work just fine.

Hi,
What is the current recommended air filter I should put on my 2019 CF400AU-B (450L)? Is the UP-6229ST compatible?
Thanks

Yes, that should fit fine as the 400s take the same OE filter as the 800s.

For the life of me, I cannot find the Uni filters ANYWHERE for my '21 Cforce 600. I know it's the same. I have actually ordered it twice on Amazon, only to have the sellers message me and say hey we don't have stock and don't know when we'll get more. Does anyone have a spare I can buy?? Or somewhere that actually has them??
