ZForce 800 EX, 53 & Trail / Re: Quiet Muffler for 2021 ZForce Trail
« on: October 23, 2021, 08:33:43 PM »
Thank you, I will take a look.  I had it out today looking for an Indian fight site on the Bozeman Trail.  Big country and bigger as I explored it.  The 800 does an amazing job, up and down hills and across soft ground.  We sure enjoy having it.

ZForce 800 EX, 53 & Trail / Quiet Muffler for 2021 ZForce Trail
« on: October 21, 2021, 06:36:09 PM »
Hello everyone.  I use our 800 trial to get into the Big Horn Mountains in Wyoming for both hunting and photography.  I would love to find a muffler or silencer for our machine.  I have searched and looked for solutions but did not find what I am looking for.  I can't be the only guy that wants a quiet machine.  If you have been able to achieve this and not loose power, I would like to hear about it.

Thank you in advance

There was a lot of room for fresh grease at every point on our new 800 trail.  Thank you for telling me about these situations.  Amazon seems to be out of the UNI oil filter, where do you guys buy yours??

Thanks again

I want to be able to use this machine in the winter and not freeze to death.  What do you make for my Zforce 800 Trail?

General Discussion / Starting a new ZForce 800 correctly

Good Day to all, We have jsut purchased and brought home a 2021 ZForce 800 Trail.  I want to start it correctly, where do I start and what has to be done to make sure it is reliable transportation into the Big Horn Mountains and back.  I am tryin to read everything here but it gets confusing to look at it all at once. Here are my Questions, I appreciate the help in advance.

Do you change the factory oil as soon as you get it home?

I know that we need to redo the air filters but there are so many ideas posted, I don't know how to rig our
       machine.

I assume that my dealer has greased all the zerks but should I do it over again.

What about the water / antifreeze mixture?  What comes in the radiator and what should be used there.  It
have been known to get a bit chilly here, not bad but did drop to -32 last winter.

Spare tire and wheel, pretty spendy, how to achieve safety and not break the bank.

Does anyone haul their hunting dog on these machines?  If so how?  We use our Lab to hunt Blue Grouse and
hope to be able to find less hunted areas with this machine.

I guess that is more than enough for one afternoon.  Again Thank  you

Introduce Yourself and Your Ride / New ZForce 800. Very new to riding
« on: July 10, 2021, 08:05:08 PM »
Thank you for letting me join.  I hope that I will find users of these machines that can guide me through the starting of a new hobby for us.  We live in Dayton, WY at the foothills of the Big Horn Mountains.  We are 73 and 70 years old and getting something that shortens the hike is getting more important.  We will use this machine to camp, hunt and photograph from.  I have a large 2 year old Lab pup that I want to find a way to safely carry him so we can get to less crowded Blue Grouse hunting.
