With some bikes/models having problems with water leaks (my V5 and CF150) I would suggest that owners have a look at the consistency of the coolant. My V5 had the waterpump replaced under warranty at 400Km and has been good so far. The 150 started leaking at 200km, and looking at the colour and feel of the coolant it looked very weak. Talked to the dealer about this and with his consent I drained off half of the radiator and refilled with coolant concentrate to make a thicker mix. So far there has been no more leaking and the dealer now puts more concentrate into all bikes/quads before they leave the dealership and all bikes/quads that come in for service. He has had no more customers with leaks and has been onto the importer to get the factory to change the coolant mix. I understand that using more concentrate will make little difference to the coolant effect, but the goal was to get more lubrication to the water pump ceramic seal, and it seems to be working.
If you are looking at long term ownership I suggest you look to using a 'waterless' coolant such as the Evans waterless coolant or similar as this is also a thicker greasier coolant that will work well with pump seals.
