Melting rear deflector behind exhaust

Anyone else running into this?

Dealership is got me a new one.. Most folks just take them off I imagine.. but I want to leave it on.. Questions? Comments?

Try adding a short bent piece of pipe to the muffler to direct the gases away from the light.
