I've had to fan under water mud. There is a drain in the bottom so it clears out fairly quick. It's just a plastic impeller type. It is where the recoil would go if the engine was on a cforce. If you can get most of the heat out the tail pipe with the wrap than you might be ok without the fan

Cool. Maybe something like this on top would be what the doctor ordered: :)

http://www.amazon.com/Universal-Replacement-Mudding-Snorkel-Intake/dp/B00F2CSQAW/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1449418677&sr=8-4&keywords=off+road+air+intake

His only issue will be if he is running a 800 trail. With out the fender flares like the EX, a LOT of mud gets slinged back in the lower bed area which is why your original air intake mod failed in my unit.

I have since modified the snorkel so it sits higher and I can adjust the intake grill to where I like, I also do have the ex so I have the extra fenders on the rear to stop mud flicking up into the bed area

Have you got a couple more pictures from down below the box and where and how it attaches to the cab?

See, on your unit your roll cage has the mounts for the 4/5 point harness. The US models dont. I'd MUCH rather have a harness as opposed to the dinky seat belts. I usually ride with out mine on because it has the safety lock like in cars and when im going across whoops i get pinned into my seat and can barely control the unit.

Yes they come with 4 point as standard over here and I've now fitted 5 point, much better than a normal seat belt

Hey guys.....I have searched through this forum for a while now but this is my first post.  Had my Z force 800 ex  for almost a year.  With the warranty about to expire, I am trying to figure out the first big mod.  Snorkeling seems to be at the top of the list.  Other than the vent tubes, I will be running 4 stacks out of the bed.  But since this topic seems to have died, wanted to know how devaldaz's custom air box is holding up as well as the heat wrap?  Also if anyone has completed a "complete" snorkel of (cvt intake/outet and air intake/exhaust fan)?  Last I was going to get some heat shield off amazon to put along the back plastic between cab and engine, but heard some complaints of the heat melting the adhesive.  NMKawierider have you experienced anything like this?
