So if I'm running a big heavy set of 28" cryptids at elevations between 500-2000 feet what should I clock the secondary at. Ever since I put on the tires I've noticed that the clutch has had a much harder time engaging and getting things spinning. Most of the terrain here is muddy and rocky and I dont really need the top end speed as much as the low end torque to get things turning in the mud?

Just the 28s alone at any elevation you will need B2 especially with that type of riding. Do understand that getting started..that is from a dead stop to moving is all on the wet clutch, not the CVT's clutches. And there isn't much you can do about that except be in low range when in thick, deep mud or slow rock crawling..which you should be anyway. The more it slips the hotter it gets and the faster it wears out. Still..you can make them last a very long time.

Finally received some of the parts I ordered, I got everything except the new case. When I put the new wet clutch on I have a question,, looking at the engine from the clutch side what way does the engine turn? clockwise? When I rotate the clutch housing with the one way bearing in it turns the engine when I roll it clockwise ,, freewheels when I roll it counter clockwise. Is my one way bearing in right?
Also when I removed the wet clutch I found a snap ring behind it that fell in the case. It looks like one of the snap rings that holds the wet clutch assembly together but they are all on there,, any ideas where this snap ring could have came from? The only other snap ring I see in the manual in this area is one on the oil pressure regulator but I don't know what size that one is or how it could have got off there.

The oneway should lock when you turn the Primary shaft clockwise...the direction the engine turns, and freewheel counterclockwise. You can see it in the last video when I spin it to get the belt back up the sheaves. As for the clip....I can't help you. You know more then I do about that.
