Okay, our Z8 Trail is at around 1400 mile and I think it may be time to start carrying a few extra parts.  Other than an extra fuel filter what extra parts do you feel are necessary to carry with you on any ride?  BTW, I'm talking "parts" not plug kit, compressor, JB weld, fire extinguisher, etc.

Never really thought about it. Most anything that can fail I wouldn't want to repair on the trail...not even a belt. I guess most often people break steering parts like tie rod and ends. If I was going to take something on a long tough run, it might be a set of ends..maybe some extra nuts and bolts..clips...stuff like that. For big stiff I keep a 15' tow strap under the seat.
