So I have a full on service manual but the directives are quite vague and I do not want to screw things up.
I've got the cowling all loose, the center cap popped up but not sure where to go from here.
To pull the stick (shift lever) up do I remove the nuts staring up at me and the whole assembly comes up or what>?

Thanks!

Loosen the lock nut and spin the top off.

Lift the cowling up and over (after removing the fasteners)  to get at the lower bits.

Thank you! I sort of thought so but was apprehensive to keep going.
Thanks for the help!
