USB charger/Volt meter
« on: August 25, 2016, 08:25:10 AM »
Once again im sorry that i didnt take pictures because it was 9pm when I finished and WAY to dark to take a picture but here is my write up and pictures to follow.

I bought a USB charger/ volt meter off of Amazon ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CXZ04R8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ) and installed it last night.  I REALLY liked the idea of this because pretty much everything I would be charging uses a USB cord and an adapter.  Plus I love the fact that is has a volt meter built in.  Installation is stupid simple.  Hook the + to a switched 12v source and the - to a good ground.  I have a secondary fuse block in my Zforce 800 so that's where I went with mine.  It seems like its a decent quality unit and it has 2 USB ports on it for charging.  On top of that it fits directly in the switch blank cut outs on the Zforce so no cutting required. If your looking for charging and a small gauge you wont find one cheaper or fitting more perfect than this one.
I can imagine a world completely at peace.  A world where there are no weapons, no war, and no violence at all.  And I can imagine us taking over that world because they would never expect it.

Great idea. I have been using just a USB adaptor in the accessory plug but that renders the plug unusable for other stuff.

I'm out of space too now but there is plenty of room to cut new holes to the sides. I would make a template first but....

I had to cut a new hole for my light bar switch. I jut took one of the old blanks and traced it on there and cut it out.  Worked great

That's the override. You have one too. It gives you full power in diff-lock and reverse. It's a momentary switch but I was thinking of switching it out for an on/off switch.
