After installing doors there are some open holes. That drives me nuts. This may not be the way to cap these off but it is one way.

Had some left-over ABS plastic from the fender project so I cut and with a belt sander formed them to fit the holes. There is an edge on the inward side so I drilled two small holes and counter sunk them so two small wood screws could be used to fasten them in place. Then sealed the edges with black RTV. Afterwards cleaned up the edges with some acetone on a rag. Not perfect but better then an open hole to fill with junk. And completely removable.

Thanks. Now I need to do something with the other two. A bit more tricky as they have the bracket for the door post going through it.

I wonder if you could fill the head of the screws with RTV silicone or something similar so the heads of the screws don't fill with crud making them unable to be removed, then if/when you want to remove the screws you can pull the RTV out. All I can think of is the screws that hold the plastic trim on a vehicle over the top of the rockers and how much of a pain in the ass those are to remove after they fill with crud.

Just did that. Also see that the side that just has RTV needs some support under it. Think I can just glue a little brace across underneath.
