What is "droop" ?

Droop is the distance the shock travels downward from normal resting position. If you think of it as the opposite of compression, your on the right track. The combination of both compression and droop make up the distance of total shock travel you have available. Both can be adjusted for the type of driving a person does most often.

Very cool & interesting  My suspension experience has taught me quality trumps travel. What you are doing is out of bounds with my thought process. I've not explored increasing the travel as you have ....so I'm watching & listening.

It's all about learning more each day. I have learned a lot on this forum about SBS in general.
I come from an extensive background of buggy rock crawling.  That is where suspension travel is one of the most important things.
I'm trying to setup my Z6 for the best of both worlds a mix between rock crawling and trail riding.

Shock report.........

After a week long trip in Taylor Park Colorado and over 380 miles the shocks worked GREAT.

A little tuning was needed but overall awesome.

I was able to gain almost 2 inches in total lift. The skid plates didn't have to work near as hard.

And the wife gave the ride her approval.
