Looks like they will do very well. I stopped by my local Lowes and picked up a few of their rubber grommets to see how they will work while waiting on the vinyl. Drilled out the brackets and installed them. Stopped 90% of all the MTM chatter. What's left is between the bolt and the latch frame. Very happy. Did have to cut the groove a little wider for the thicker metal though but just slipped it through a 1/2" bolt, threaded a nut down on it, chalked it up I'm my drill press and with a small rat tail file, one for sharpening a chainsaw blade because it was the same thickness as the bracket, just spun it and cut it wider.
