Kinda long..cause it's like two videos in one but I wanted to see if I could keep them together. Most people probably won't go through all this but..it's good general info. This is how I am replacing all my bushings and sleeves on my Z Force 800.

As I've read various posts about glueing the bushings I was thinking why not just knurl them. You made a very point about creating the pathway for the grease to get in between the bushing & the A Arm tube.

Nicely done!  :)

Thanks. With the aid of the old sleeves from this install I was able to cut them down into the right lengths to finish the rest of the bushing knurling. Now I just need a reason to do more (All the rest are OK, tight.. and not squeaking right now) :)

It's surprising how much easier and smoother the suspension works with bushings that aren't seizing. Jumping on the hitch it's like...real suspension...lol

Finally had a chance to go for a ride last weekend on a quick camping trip and although I only put less then 20 miles on it, that would have been enough to start the old bushings to squeak...somewhere. None did, and the ride was noticeably smoother..even the wife said so. Also, having all the brake caliper slides working..ie not siezed.. improved the brakes as well. Finally getting this thing where I want it. Still need a set of Elkas...and some better seats. :)

A shot or two from that trip.

Nice boon docking setup!
Almost makes me want to retire in your neck of the woods!
Crappy all around weather here with an ice storm today.
My camper still has the tarp on it.

We hardly got anything this winter..even in the mountains. We are going to be in trouble very soon...already areas are burning and fire danger is set to high or extreme in some places already.
