I was curious what the exact dimension differences were between the factory and the K&N filter that some people claim will work.  So I bought both brand new and pulled them out to measure them.  Attached are pictures of them and their part numbers.  Also attached is a rough diagram with dimensions.  The only major difference seems to be the rubber seal part.  Which by the way you can pull out and swap between the 2 so its possible to use the K&N filter if you pull the factory rubber part and put it in the K&N

The made in China stamp on the K&N made me laugh
