EDIT: I have changed this thread to a "How To" instead of a question. Hopefully this will help others, as I couldn't find anything on the internet about it.

Vehicle: 2017 Cf Moto Uforce 800 EPS. (Australian)

Many people don't know this, but there a a governor in place to restrict the throttle. It is a part of the wear in process and should remain on for 750km's or 20 hours. It is normally removed by the dealer on the first service. In some cases where the user has serviced the vehicle themselves or the dealer has overlooked it, it may need to be removed on your own. If you are not confident on doing so, consult your dealer. There should be no charge for this.

Step 1 - lift passenger seat. and remove air filter, so butterfly is visible.
Step 2 - Locate and remove throttle cover on passenger side of throttle body. Roughly 50mm in diameter. Glossy black in colour. 
Step 3 - Locate 'wear in period" throttle limiter. (see picture). when pedal is compressed, you will see the throttle hit this bit of metal. you should also check the butterfly is only partially open, to confirm your limiter is still there. it is meant to be removed during first service.
Step 4 - Grab metal piece with pliers. Gently bend side to side, with a slight twisting motion. The metal is cast in a way that it is meant to break off.
Step 5 - Remove bold from behind accelerator pedal. A slight adjustment of the cable tension may be required at the throttle body. Judge this for yourself. The butterfly should move a 90 degree as the pedal touches the floor.
Step 6 - Replace all covers and the filter.

Step 7 - Enjoy the new found power. Caution, if you are not used to it, take your time. The U800 will break traction every time you accelerate to full throttle and begin to slid the back end. this may be a shock to new off road drivers.

you would have to press the pedal to the floor then check at the throttle body to make sure you are getting full wide open throttle. it is possible that they have the pedal set to only give 3/4 throttle or something. If you aren't getting wide open throttle at the throttle body, back out the screw until you do

There is nothing there except the rev limiter. Check the throttle. You can adjust the clutches, there is plenty of info on this site so I'm not going to be beating that horse here.

Thanks guys. I have found it. There was a pin stopping the butterfly from opening.
It was outside the throttle body, where the cable turns a disc type thing. The disc was being stopped.
It was easy to grab with pliers and break off. Then remove bolt from behind pedal. Went from 1/8th throttle to full open throttle.

I'm now enjoying the Real power of my u8 and I love it. Definitely great value machine.

wow they pinned it at the throttle body too? Damn they really wanted to keep people out of the throttle.

can you post a pic, Id like to see where it is, hell maybe mine still has it in.
And should that screw that stops the gas pedal be removed??? Is that there just for the break in period?

I wouldn't remove it completely, it will keep you from stretching/snapping your throttle cable if you like to mash the pedal. But I would make sure you adjust it so you get WOT at the throttle body.

I removed the bolt completely. I did need to adjust the cable a couple mm at the throttle body to prevent stretching of the cable. besides that, the pedal goes all the way to the floor.

I will get a photo later today.

The power difference is massive, at least tippled acceleration and top speed has doubled.

Just bought a 2018 U800 and one of the first things was to check and see if the throttle body was opening all the way at WOT and it is , I haven't checked for the plate or pin your talking about but if the butterfly is 90° then I'm guessing mine is removed and adjusted

Bump....

I have 2022 Uforce 1000 that seems to cut out at 5200rpm in high or low when in 2WD.  CFMoto headquarters say no ECU limiter, dealer says same.  Are they still putting these throttle body limiters in new machines?

Does anyone know if the uforce 1000 has this limter? I know if throttle by wire.
