As much as I like to work on my own toys...I am sad to say that I have never had to service the diffs on any machines I've owned.  Either didn't keep them long enough or had the dealer do it.  So here I sit looking for the next project after the winch rocker switch install.  I looked through service manual...not much help.  I know its not rocket science but any explanation, tips, pictures, etc. would be appreciated

Drains are on the bottom, fills are on the sides ..uses an allen. Fill to the top of the threads with what's recommended in your manual.

Is this fill on the rear diff? Allen stock head brass washer. I did a test run on the suspension today, got back and found fluid coming out of the vent tube. Need to check the level

Make sure that little black line coming off the top is attached and goes up high and tied-off. On both.

I'm using a Valvoline synthetic 80/90 W. Next change I am going to a 75/90.. this stuff:

Oil coming out of the vent means heat and expansion when normally there isn't. This usually means water has been introduced into the oil or the oil is being super-heated for some reason.

I went with valvoline 75/90 sync as well.  Thanks for the tip..both were on tight...thinking I'm just going to buy longer tubing and get them in a better spot.
