Changing uforce 800 brake pads

I feel stupid but which bolts do I remove to replace the brake pads? Is it the bolts with the rubber boots or the two Allen heads that remove entire caliper? I tried the Allen bolts but the pads were extremely difficult to remove from the caliper that way? Was wondering if I should have removed the other two bolts with the boots instead?

Leave the base...remove the caliper. yes, the two with the boots. and while there be sure the slides work smoothly.
