Hi fellow CF owners. I have a near new CForce 400au. Bought new in 2018 have only put about 150 miles on it. Not ridden it during winter - went to start it but wouldn't turn over. Charged the battery up then turned it over. It started then i turned it off(mistake). A few days later i tried starting it again but only got a persistent clicking noise. The EFI light was flicking concurrently with the clicking noise.
So no turning over at all. I have recharged it a few times but get nothing but the clicking sound (and EFI light) now when trying to start. I had a look at the manual and it say's i may need to reset the circuit breaker but no advice about where that is. I have checked various fuses and all look in good order. Tried to take the spark plug out to see if it was wet (fuel) but it is very hard to get to it from left hand side with the panel removed. The spark plug tool in my toolkit is rubbish.
I'm thinking that ill just buy a new battery - the one that came with is 12v 30aH which seem really hard to find. Does anyone know if it matters if i go for a lower amperage will it affect the performance? Also do you think there may be another issue i need to look at?

A new battery should do the trick and are easy to find in the states. Not sure about NZ. 

If you can't find them at Battery Town, the ATV dealer, or an auto parts store, then online is always an option.

Lower amp/hour capacity may work,  but the lower capacity will mean shorter battery life.

Hi All, I purchased Motobatt MBTX30U which was just about the only equivalent available here in NZ. Started first go and runs sweet again. Problem solved - also tested my old battery that was giving a false reading and found out that was dead. Sorted
