Air snokel
« on: March 20, 2017, 12:19:07 PM »
Moved my CVT air intake on weekend and thought it might work for my airbox . Used 2" ABS and I think it came out OK . Turned the rubber 90* and cut a hole behind the pass seat . The only way it would fit is because my wifes seat is slid ahead ,if the seat was back then 1.5" is all there is room for. Just put the stock sock on for now ,will find a filter later .It should get more air because the stock tube is restricted something crazy

For some reason only 1 photo loaded . Also forgot to add that the rubber 90 on the airbox does not look round but I heated it up heat gun and it was quite flexable

Should be better then it was. Also, if I recall, you can oval a pipe quit a bit before it actually becomes restrictive..30-40%. I had to go about 20% on mine to get the plastic to lay back flat.
