[UPDATE 3/24/16:]

Some of us..like my wife  ..don't care for a noisy machine...and quite honestly it does get to my ears after a few hours. Other times you want the sound and to have it on or off at will is a nice feature, especially for hunters . So, there are silencers out there for lots of machines...but not the CFMoto..just yet. And some for general usage. If you want one, you will have to adapt one. I have been planning on one sense the start and in mind when I did the exhaust mode last year. To do this, you will have to have a 2" ID discharge like mine as the inlet, with a little file work and sanding, will slip in and seal on its own.

Some time back I decided on this Benz silencer which is for the JD Gator 825 as it had the right size inlet and was for the right size machine. Benz has the best overall customer reviews I found as per quality and actual noise reduction. I was not able to find any that were rated for 800cc and larger that had as small of an inlet as the ZForce 800 has for an exhaust outlet so I went with this one.

You will remove the hanger closest to the inlet and re-bend the outer hanger and size it as needed. I just drilled and use one of my belly plate self taping screws to hold it. I may put a clamp on the exhaust connection but it's a tight  fit, in over two inches and it is not leaking and it had no restriction so..if it stays-put, I won't use a clamp because one screw and it's off is what I was shooting for. I'll do a DB test in a day or so but it's at least 15 DBs quieter. I actually like it. Here are some pics.

UPDATE 3/24/16:

Did the DB Check today. Surprisingly the meter showed less change then the ears did. But facts don't lie. I also see the recommended placement for a DB Meter on checking exhaust is not directly behind it but off to one side and 20 feet away, not 12. I may re-do this test later but here's the video:

I guess making something quieter isn't very popular...lol. Well, for the hunters and those with nature-loving wives/girlfreinds it will be.

Good work on the test.  I don't have an issue with the sound of the factory set up and the gf isnt in it enough to care ...kind of hard to hear sometimes anyway because of the whine of the cvt.  But at least I know I have this to fall back on.

Yeah if we could do something with that incessant whine.
My little muffler mod made mine a little louder so this just put the sound back to and a little less then stock. I took note of how loud Jogon30's was on our last ride. His was much quieter then mine was. Mine gets to the ears after a few hours. Don't know how the guys with the Two Brothers pipes do it...lol

Out of all the things I would suggest to CF Moto..that whine would be at the top...but it's managable I guess...hoping the snorkel and sound dappener takes it down a notch.

Closing up the center grill with sound deadener after porting the intake outside make a good difference in mine on whine. Compare some of mu early videos  (ones without music) and the latest ones.

I might get more and do all I can including the center tunnel.

Quieter is popular with some folks, like you said, especially with hunters and nature lovers. Personally, I like the sweet music from my 2 Bros. I'd like to have a good sounding dual exhaust. That would be sweet music in stereo.

NMK, I LIKE quieter, I'm thinking about bribing you to get you up here to mod both of my machines....I want the mod to close up the air intake/move it AND the quieter muffler....

This one will work with the stock pipe with an adaptor or by changing the pipe on the silencer. Trying to find one for an 800cc+ machine with an inlet as small as these ZForce's discharge is tough. Smaller you can find..for like a 500cc but I didn't want the restriction.

And yeah, I sure don't miss all that heat and noise that comes through that vent.

 I read somewhere that 7 or 8 DB's on a regular car etc is lowering the actual sound by 50%. Sounds like you got your sound down by around 40% or so, right?

May be true. It is much quieter to my ear then it was. Then again the end mod made it several DBs louder then the stock end and I think this just takes it back plus a few more dbs. What I should do is test it with the factory end only to see.
