I have a z force 800 ex 2014. Was driving around and it stalled out. Noticed the fuel pump fuse blew. I switched it out then it blew again. So I switched it again and notice my kill switch was on so I switched it off and the fuse blew. But now when I switched it a third time I have no power at all. My screen doesn’t come on at all. Need some help!!! Pls

I should add it was wet conditions and I have checked all fuses under steering they all tested good. Also the two under the seat tested good. Battery is fully charged and no loose wires

2014 was the first year of the ZForce 800 and in the beginning they use a glass fuse for a main fuse closer to the battery on that same red/white system wire. They changed to the main under the seat later along with the PS motor power supply. Do check for that glass fuse just in case but also check again all battery connections and see if you have power to the fuse box under the steering column at all.

You also have a short somewhere and my guess is the kill switch has water in it so pull it and see. You can take them apart but getting back together is a bitch. I would test it first and tap it on some paper to see if any water comes out...then I would just replace it.

So I looked no glass fuse. I’m not the original owner looks like it was fixed by dealer. With the receipt I have. I have owned it for 2 years. I do not have any power going to the fuse box upfront. (Horn fuel pump ext) my winch still works so main fuse must be fine.
The kill switch has no water yes it was a big pain in the ass to put back together.
I’m thinking something to do with the fuel pump for a short and not sure what else? No power up front so I’m unsure  of what that is.

It has to be something with the kill switch? But I’m still not getting any power on the screen which is weird. When I flipped that kill switched it short and blew the fuel pump so that tells me something is wrong with one of them two I’m guessing

Could it be something with the ignition switch?  I am sending you a link to the wiring diagram so you can start tracing it out.

Yes looks like ignition switch relay or the kill switch. I’m definitely going to go over it this week see what’s going on. Update will come

When kill switch is on are you still able to see the dash on? Thinking outside the box? If it sparked and trigged it to stay on?

I just went out and checked- the back light, gear indicator and other readouts in the pod are on when the kill switch is in the NON-run position. From what I know the kill switch kills power to the fuel pump, ignition/ECM and starter solenoid circuit. Nothing else. One interesting note was that when I turned it back on the fuel pump came on as you would expect.. but when I shut the switch back off I expected the pump to stop...but it didn't until it pressured up. Says that if the relay is active, it will continue feeding power to the relay's coil until it breaks contact by the fuel pressure switch. Just something I found...interesting.

Auxiliary starter relay fuse?
Not sure where that would be? Mine was built in the late 2014 so could it be a 15?

Well the problem is fixed!!! So before I bought this they fixed the glass fuse. the glass fuse is no longer there as they wired two separate fuses. I have found them replaced both now it starts up with ease. But I do have a short somewhere Or lose wire. Hitting water should never short it out.

Great news. But the search continues. Well, it's there....somewhere. You'll find it. Just have to "become one with the splash" and see where it's getting into.
