I have a 2015 z6. Front right axel keeps coming out of front differential. The place I bought it from put a new axel on that side. Are the front left and right axels different. The retainer clip is on the axel and not sure if the grove inside the diff is wore out and won’t hold onto the axel anymore or did the dealer put the wrong axel in it

The parts diagram for the 2015 Z6 shows two different lefts and rights front axles. See 4-1 & 4-2, 10-1 & 10-2. It does not specify the differences between the two but I would guess..whatever one you have isn't the correct one for your differential.

I finally got around to putting the new front axle in and it popped right back out while I was going down my street.

Are you running any kind of lift lit or anything different like shocks?

I did not put a lift on it. It most definitely doesn’t have a lift kit. Has the DNM shocks on it. I did hear from my dealer today. They talked to cfmoto and was told that there might be an ongoing issue with the front diffs. They did not go into detail but I am taking the Zforce in tomorrow and cfmoto is saying it might be warrantied. Even though I bought it used they will still warranty the diff. So just have to wait and see what they say once my dealer send them the pics

Mine was doing that in the rear. I grabbed a snap ring off a 02 sportsman axle and it went in tight. Haven't tried to pull it out, but hasn't came out on it's own again.

UPDATE!!!!! I FOUND OUT CFMOTO does shim their axles I to the front diff so that they wont pop out. The shim is put o. The axle and the axle is slipped through the front wheel bearing. Also I ha e a different snap ring on the axle that keeps it in the front diff. The snap ring is from a rzr 1000 wrist pin. It is a little bit more heavy duty and works great now. Their is about a 1/4 to 5/16 of shim that was required to make it stay in.
