Z-Force 800EX shocks
« on: January 02, 2019, 09:45:11 AM »
hey guys, i've contacted Bandit about shocks for the 800EX, but they had none.
was told if i supply the eye to eye lenght, width of the mounting ends and bolt size they could
make some, so if anyone has a set of shocks off that could measure them
it would make it easier.
Thanks

Been trying to get someone to do just that for a while. Just need to take one front and one rear off for those measurements but so far no one had done it. I think..you might have to be the first Flash...:)  One other note about Bandit. From my observations with my friend's Wildcat trail's shocks he had built by Bandit, they, like Elka, assume you want a stiff, sport ride and use a heavier spring then one that would give you a plusher ride. Make sure you tell them what you expect from the shock and the ride you want. You can always give it some more preload to get a stiffer ride and more height but if the springs are too..HD..even backed off it will still ride rough. For the Trail set we build, the 200 rear and 175 front will do all. Not sure what the EX will need but they will know.
