The machine turns over, but won't fire.  Replaced spark plug, fuel filter and pump.  Drained fuel and put new fuel in.  Checked oil level.  It fired once, but died and won't fire again.  Any ideas?

Check that it has spark, that the voltage is above 12.1 when cranking, that the fuel pump is delivering the correct pressure..40+psi, that the compression is above the minimum listed in the manual. Also check the CPS/crank speed sensor per the manual. If all this checks, check the valve timing.
