Would you buy one again?
« on: April 13, 2020, 06:07:29 PM »
Strongly considering a 2020 CFM 600 2-up as our first ATV.  You hear really good things and a few really bad things as well.

If so - what should I expect to pay for one (U.S.)??  Do you expect to pay retail???

Thanks in advance!

After I decided to buy a Compton I started checking various dealers and what they had posted for prices on their websites.  I then went into the dealer and started dealing.  I got our z8 for less than advertised.  So, to answer your question, no, because I could only quote you what Mark is.  Start searching and good luck.

Dear ckcisme1966; I have two 2020 cforce500's and a cforce600 2 up, 2019.
I'm in MA and bought them from dealer right over border in ME. 6k each for 500's and $6300 for 6oo w camo.
I've done 200 miles in NH and ME and the trails have have been tons of rock and even snow ice in November, no issues.
I tried looking at Polaris bt why the extra money for less, they have a ton of issue just like every other manufacturer!
The only other brand i liked but still too much $$$ was suzuki, but old story.
The quality of cfmoto is there and i can attest first hand so get over the "Chinese" thing, they've conquered that battle ages ago, there not a Chinese throw away unit at all.
My only advice being in the NE,******Make sure you put skid plates on ASAP!***** the trails in the NE are going to smash up the bottom is no time and that's you being very careful, but no choice. I did IronBaltic, no issues just check my past posts on the hellish ride i had with another company.
Oh ya, I got the battery warranty for $100. and replaced one already with a yuesa battery, and the 350.00 extended warranty which covers everything for 5-6years, so if a kid smashes up an a-arm or rolls it or something bizarre with the computer., or fuel injection, ect.... I'm just dropping it off and sayin fix-it!
Hope this helps, LMK how you make out, make sure you buy from a big dealer on this brand so you get the pro service you deserve in case.
Sorry so long....GLuck

I currently own a 2017 cf moto c force 520 (500s in the us) and i have about 27000km and 940h on it know and it's working. I have 2 things i realy blame cf moto for and not me abusing it in rough terrain and thats is the cam shain tensioner broke around 2800km and a few brake lines thats where a problem on some 400/450 and 500s/520. My dealers idiotic mechasnic thats changed the cam chain tensioner has almoust caused moust of the problems. Missing screws and damaged things here and there. Missings gaskets, failing to remmove old gaskets completely. Looks likle the idiot used a sledge hammer and a screw driver to seperate the inside of the cvt cover from the enginne. (No wonder why it was tedning to leak oil there) To remove it you youst could use a nylon hammer and give it a few taps. He got fired after he touched my machine and i sure hopes that idiot don't tuch any viechle ever again.

But i do think it's holding upp pretty good i do replace wheelbearings and ti rods now and then but's that what my riding style does to it and i don't use the original parts ither so can't blama cf moto for that one.

I wish the machine had better shocks from the factory and a few cm more ground clearance. And some more aftermarket parts would be nice. It's loking like there is more but not in Sweden anyways.

I maybe be bying ane agian but as it's looking now when i change machine i want a short frame with more power and thats not avaible from cf moto so might try something different just to try and get a short frame with more power.
