Hey folks, I own a 2022 CForce 800XC, absolutely love the quad however the throttle mapping is so sensitive. It seems like it's all or nothing sometimes. I'm continuously "peeling out" unintentionally, lol. This is in both forward L or H as well as Reverse.

Anyone else have the same experience?

I have a 2019 and although the throttle is touchy, I wouldn't say that I peel out every time.  I have learned how to take off more smoothly going forward. Reverse is still a little more difficult.  I haven't ridden it in a while, so I'm guessing I'll have to relearn to take off smoothly.

They have had some ECU mapping issues. I would check with your dealer on any recalls or solutions. Sometimes its a replacement ECU. Other times there are problems with the TPS. That too is replaceable.

Sometimes I can feather the throttle and take off in F or R however more times it reacts differently each time the throttle is engaged.

I thought mine was touchy when I first got it but over time Ive gotten used to it.

I live on a hill, so feathering it til the rollers lock out is a survival skill . . .

You could try checking for kinks or binds in the cable. something might be preventing it from moving consistently.

The only thing I can feel on mine is return spring resistance.

I have a 21 and a 22 800xc. (purchased the same time but one came in as a 21), anyway the 22 I had this issue with. It jerked so hard once in reverse I almost went over the bars. Getting close to anything was a nightmare, would just putr in N and push it. They replaced the ECU which made it better but I always hold the rear brake heavy as I throttle up on both these now, (rev and release) every once in a whileit will jack rabbit on me.  (both machines)

That's just plain dangerous. Whatever it takes, that needs fixed.

They put it through its paces and found nothing wrong with it????

I did some research and there are clutch kits that fix the issue. Going to look into it after I get all my other issues on a bike that has less than 500kms or 350 miles looked after.

It does take a moment to get used to.
First few days I kept trying to toss myself off in various directions.

I also adjusted the throttle cable a bit on mine.
Tightened it up a bit so I had a better sense of feel on the throttle.

I kinda "ease into it" but not slowly.

Kind of like a trigger pull. Smooth.
