My 2019 ZForce 800 will not go back into 2 wheel drive. After being out in the mountains I went to switch to 2 wheel for a short drive on the street and it would not come out of all wheel drive.

Anybody have any suggestions?

A question or two: Does the dash show it to be in 4wd or 2wd after you switch it to 2wd? If it changes but the diff does not, the actuator is moving but the slide is not..and part of that is plastic and does get stripped out sometimes. It is an easy fix. If the dash indicator doesn't change, the actuator isn't moving so it's either a bad actuator, a bad connection or a blown fuse...or a bad switch which is not unheard of. I could also be a bent fork making it jam-up. Personally I don't leave mine in 4wd any longer then it has to be. There are forces going on in there that can impact parts...Chinese parts...

This is the plastic piece that the actuator moves that gets stripped-out.

That's just a temp-fix...make sure the actuator is unplugged so it can't do any damage.
