Going to badlands for labor day weekend has anyone been there can share some good trails too check out ? Any info would be appreciated o how are they about drinking at camp ?

Honestly from my experience the one time I was there I wasn't impressed the place didn't seem that big and there wasn't very many trailers Flat River St Joe State Park seems like a better Park and I seen your from Aviston Illinois I'm in Collinsville and flat Rivers a lot more cost-effective $5 entry and $20 night camping and free bike washes at the camp

Thanks for the info I have never been to saint Joe herd good things about it but that's it. I normally ride on private property and mud fest in Taylor ville o also been to little Egypt that was cool  but yeah if your ever needing more people on a ride send me a message always like going to new places.  Did you buy yours in Alton?

Yeah the next time I go on a ride I will definitely let you know I know the week of the 11th and October I'm planning a trip to ride royal blue in Tennessee and I got my Z-Force last July before Midwest start selling them I got mine in Fenton at St Louis Power Sports my kids bike but still I like the Z-Force a lot I have a RZR XP that I ride now

Sweet yeah me and my buddy's talked about a ride in October nice cool air lol never herd of royal blue I'll have to look it up.  Yeah next time we go I'll send ya a message the more the better always found the bigger the group the better the time .

Yeah the more in a group bullish makes for a better ride royal blue is a nice place to go ride over 600 miles of trails and that is just what is mapped there's hundreds of videos on YouTube about ride royal blue there's even ones from Fishers ATV world

Been to both Badlands and St. Joe's several times.  Like them both. 

Badlands is about 800 acres, little bit of everything riding-wise including trails, pea-gravel dune-like area, hill climbs, mud.  Camping is so-so.  It's one big open area with a shower house.  They have electric/water hookups.  Don't believe you're supposed to drink there, but that never stopped us, or slowed us down.

St. Joe's has a much larger riding area, about 2500 acres.  It's an old lead mine and they used to have some nice water holes, but the EPA got involved, and they rocked over nearly all of that.  Finding mud is a challenge there.  There are dunes and a lot of wooded trails.  Some good hill climbing.  Their camping facilities are stellar - some of the nicest you'll find.  Drinking at the campsite is ok.  They do have park rangers that frequent the place so if you're loud afterhours, they will come talk to you.

Most any kind of riding is good riding, IMO.   Hope that helps.

That's definitely true drinking is okay at the campground but not while riding and there are still a few mud holes if you come down from the campground and make a hard left and follow the perimeter all the way back there a few good mud holes back there but they're mostly water holes for me the free bike washes are a big plus not very much pressure but they're good for washing out your radiator or windshield etc

No problem.  Keep in mind, we only drink at the campground.  I try to be a responsible rider.  Don't want to hurt anybody - including myself.     Usually keep my beer in a koozie.  Don't advertise.

Of course yeah I was only interested in at the camp ground I thought it was strange for them to not allow it camping but I get it thanks again

You're about 3 hours from Turkey Bay OHV at Land Between the Lakes, KY.  Nice riding area.  Primitive camping. 

A great turkey day is nice camping just have to have a generator if you have a camper but you can camp right on the water's edge
