Wheel spacers
« on: May 25, 2020, 06:30:26 AM »
Hello,
I'm wondering if anyone is having a problem with the bolts on their wheel spacers?  I just took off one of my rear tires on my 800 Trail to make sure the spacers nuts were all snug and while taking off the list nuts if feet as if 3 of the 4 acted as if they were cross threaded.  When I went to put them all back on I could hand thread 3 on just a little ways before I had to use the socket.  The fourth took forever to get started, and then after tightening just a short distance it was too tight to go further, and when I went to remove it the bolt broke.  I wasn't able to get one other one to tighten all the way either.  I bought the Coaler beans which I had seen other people using.  I thought I'd do some quick research before I went any further.  When they were installed I threaded all by hand and had no issues.

No issues with mine. When I go to Coaler's web site I don't see any with a 4x110 pattern. You are sure you got the right ones? Most of us use these with no problems.

Hello NMK,
the ones I ordered were recommended by you.  I believe you sent me that same link.  Do you think I was sent the wrong ones?

Have no idea. The only links on spacers I ever send are on ebay...only because I have it saved in my favorites.

Yeah that's where I ended up buying them. Everything seemed to fit fine just something's going on with the lugnuts and the studs.
