Hi all, new to the forum today so I hope I'm in the right place.  I have a 2014 Z6.  I am in the middle of replacing the piston and have a bit of confusion with the rings.  The piston I took out seems to have the same rights g in the middle and top.  The replacement kit has two each middle and top rings.  So I believe I place the corrugated ring on the bottom groove, the larger on the middle groove and the smaller on top.  All with markings facing up.  That leaves me with two extra rings as supplied by cf moto.  Is this anywhere near correct?

Replying to my own post.  Lol.   So figured it out.  The piston I took out did not have the two smaller rings on either side of the corrugated ring at the bottom.  That's where they go and why I was confused.  The other two larger rings go into the middle and top grooves with the one with the small radius at the top.

yes skinny rings are oil for oil control rings, top rings are the compression rings

Man..without the two oil control rings that engine must have used oil from day-one...
