Today is the first day the forum is open again. The last week the forum opened, but there was nothing: an white page.
There came no message from your server.

I was about to hit up NMKawierider on Youtube to see what was up!

It had me worried too. I'm not sure I could live without this forum lol!

The account maxed-out its allotted server disk space so the account was suspended until Jason could arrange for more disk space. A cost increase I'm sure for him so any donations would sure be a help.

The biggest thing that used up space was attachments. Image and other types of files. We are thinking we need to place limits of their numbers or at least sizes. We also need to find a good image hosting service that people can upload to and just place .img links in the posts like we used to be able to do with Photobucket. This would be the best option. And suggestions in that area would be welcome.

I write in several Forums in Europe. In one of them I am the moderator. There al the pictures are one year on the Forum; them they will we erased. The size is also limited. If you want to keep them on the forum, then only use links to photo bucket; google+; postimage ect ect.

Yes, and this is our problem. Just take a look at the sizes of some of the uploaded photos...many are 1-2mbs. If people would keep these to even 640-480...or smaller, we wouldn't run out of space near as fast. But posting links is always the best. Links are just text to the server. I started using Imgur and I think it will work fine for my needs.
