I've had the ZForce 800 EX now for about a month and love it. I noticed yesterday condensation was forming inside the headlight assemblies...both sides. Anyone else encountered this? Is this a warrantied item?

Some have and it was because of bad seals but others found that because the vent tubes are positioned over the top and down behind the radiator, when you get water splash onto the radiator and it steams, it also gets into the housings from those tubes. Solution: relocate the vent tubes away from the back of the radiator. These are those vents:

Yeah not one of there better thoughts. Seems the radiator's heat also warms-up everything up front including the headlight housings and when they get splashed with cold water the air contracts and draws air in through the tubes....like it's supposed to...except if there is steam around the ends of the vents, that gets pulled in too. Of course there are some with bad seals but try this first. You can pull the lights out for a while to dry them out..maybe use a hear dryer..just don't drive it that way otherwise dirt will get in.

The Z6 did not have vents. Yes the seals suck so I used DI grease all around the plastic fittings. I really hope this keeps water out, The headlights aren't going to last too much longer if it doesn't. One already has crusties in it.
