Very disappointing with newer 2022 GForce 800 trail
« on: July 27, 2024, 06:42:01 PM »
I posted on another site my  opinion of the 2022 GForce 800 trail UTV. I am 69 years old and have had 15 Quads, 20 plus Trail & Moto Cross dirt bikes as well as lots of Harleys. I bought this UTV with  just 900 miles on it, from someone I knew.looked new when he delivered. But he did tell me he bought for his daughter in Montana to commute to her job from there ranch into  town about 15 miles away. As well he told me he never serviced it as of yet, So adding my goodies lights, turn signals and more. I serviced this with only 900 miles on it oil was black, air filer plugged solid. I waited about a month till his title showed up, By this time this UTV looked as good as new. steam cleaned at my shop and interior pulled out to clean completely before I took it out as I bout it to street ride, and maybe tow behind our motorhome. But with only 50 miles my wife and I have put on it, and is still under 1K mileage. My next post will be all of the issues I have found, have had to repair myself. I did contact factory but no replies from them, which now I see is common place with them. Thanks for viewing.

Hi. Welcome to the forum from Sandpoint ID!Yes CFMoto has a few issues like all the other manufactures and there is no denying it.I wonder though, How many problems would have been found/fixed if your machine had not been neglected by the previous owner and was actually taken care of?
I have 2 Quads a Cf600 with 1100 miles and an 800XC with 700 miles both 2021. All maintenance has been done by me including checking the valve clearance.I have had 3 problems. 1: The 600 needed the shift linkage adjusted within the first 100 miles 2: last Saturday the 600 needed a new battery.
3: Within the first 100 miles the 800XC needed the EVAP fix.

I suspect that the previous owner of your 2022 or the dealer he purchased it from did not install a aftermarket air cleaner; which depending on the dust issue when riding it would have been a major mistake.
Just out of curiosity what problems did you write the factory about?

SO, first off . .  Go with Curren RV (cfmotousaparts) for parts
(get the UNI air filter).
AVOID MSC parts. (like a zombie plague)
if you want mod parts go with RNG. Still no issues with his sales, prices, delivery or quality.
RJWC makes some nice mods - you can get them through Curren or order direct from RJWC.
Avoid MSC.
Their tunes suck, most of their mods suck, their staff sucks and they lose orders repeatedly. and then seem to lose your order history too. Avoid MSC.
Get your machine squared away first and back on a maintenance schedule.

2022 CFMoto CForce 800XC. Lava Orange/Camo Swapped 9x14-27/Fr 11x14-27/RR, Interco Sniper 920, RJWC header. MSC 90 intake.
