« on: June 18, 2025, 07:05:58 PM »
Hey guys so I have a Cfmoto uforce 600 I purchased October of 2023 it has always had this knock where the dealer assured me it was the gears and needed to be worn in, now it has almost 1000kms on it and still does it every time in reverse and forward wondering what could possibly be the issue and if anyone has had this problem I have attached a video

From what I see there is a lot of play or back lash in the drive train and there is an issue with smooth engagement of the primary causing it to hit and release a number of times before full engagement causing the play to kick back and forth. If you pull the clutch cover, remove the belt and inspect the primary sheaves I would almost bet you will see several spots or odd color areas..which may indicate a warped clutch or bent shaft...or a clutch that have been installed incorrectly. You might also see some odd shiny spots on the sides of the belt as well. Nothing you can do about all the play...that's just CFM...but you can get the clutch to engage smoothly. Might need replacement though.

Thanks for the response, ya it definitely doesn’t seem right to me and has always done it, would this be something that would be covered under warranty? As I did purchase in 2023

Well if you still have a 5-year warranty in Canada I would think so.
